Dave was the founder and CEO of Wendy’s which was first specializing in hamburgers/ Dave Thomas opened the first Wendy’s in Columbus(Ohio). Interestingly, he decided to name it after his daughter who was only eight years old then, Melinda (nicknamed Wendy). Dave later died in 2002 after leaving a legacy.

Dave Thomas started Wendy’s with a goal of serving fast foods. The restaurant has grown to keep Dave’s traditions and Legacy by working together with different supplying companies and individuals to provide delicious and fresh food every day. Wendy’s has opened the business in more than thirty countries all over the world. The lion share being enjoyed by the Americas and Asia. In North America and the Caribbean, you can locate them in; Puerto Rico, Honduras, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Chile, Bahamas, Argentina, Panama, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Ecuador, Brazil, and the US Virgin Islands.
